Harmony Week Belonging Tree

Download Activity Guide

This is a beautiful group craft activity that everyone can participate in and create for Harmony Week.

  • Step 1Before assembling your 3D Wooden Belonging Tre, decoupage it by tearing bark paper and gluing it to both sides of each wooden piece. Allow to dry.
  • Step 2Paint the Wooden Circle Frames different colours using CleverPatch Acrylic Paints. Allow to dry. Get students to provide photos of themselves to cut out and place into the frame, using glue to attach. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
  • Step 3Use a white POSCA marker to write words related to Harmony Week onto the frames. Cut pieces of twine 10cm long and thread through the hole at the top of each circle frame.
  • Step 4Assemble your 3D Wooden Belonging Tree. Use the twine to attach the frames to the holes within the tree. Once you have placed all your frames on to the tree, it is ready to decorate your room for Harmony Week!
