Step 1Copy the Chinese Dragon head and tail templates onto white cover paper to begin.
Step 2Paint the head and tail and allow to dry. Apply a coat of glitter watercolour to add sparkle. Allow to dry.
Step 3Paint sections on the head with glue, while the glue it still wet sprinkle with glitter. Allow to dry.
Step 4To create the dragon’s body choose a piece of craft paper and cut into three equal strips (7cm wide).
Step 5Join the ends of your strips together so you now have one long paper strip.
Step 6Choose a second piece of craft paper and repeat step 4 and 5. You should now have two long strips of craft paper.
Step 7Glue the ends of the two long strips together creating a right angle.
Step 8Fold the horizontal strip back over itself.
Step 9Fold the vertical strip up and over itself.
Step 10Repeat steps 8 and 9 until you have a square of folded craft paper. When you have one fold remaining place a dab of glue on the top of the folded square. Fold the remaining paper over securing it on the top.
Step 11Glue the tail and head to either ends of the folded paper strips.
Step 12Finally, glue a popstick under the head and one under the tail to use as handles for the puppet.
