Step 1Start by painting your ears and antler pieces. We painted the antlers green and the ears red. Allow to dry.
Step 2Add a touch of sparkle to your ears by spreading PVA glue over the top half of the ears and then covering in red fine glitter. Allow to dry.
For less glitter wastage, use a scrap piece of paper folded in half to catch the glitter falling off your colouring sheet while decorating. This will make it easy to tip the glitter back into the container ready to reuse!
Step 4Decorate the antlers by adding some gold CleverGlitz and cup sequins. Allow to dry.
Step 5Starting at one end of the headband piece, tape the end of the metallic yarn in place and start wrapping the yarn continuously around, covering all the way to the other end. Secure the other end with tape.
Be careful not to wrap too tightly as this may cause the band to buckle and lose shape.
Step 7Place the band around your head and mark where it needs to be joined. Remove from head and join at the marked point using a stapler.
Step 8Tape the ears and antlers in place. You may need to move some of the yarn to the side in order to tape directly to the cardboard underneath for a stronger hold. The shiny antlers are now ready to wear!
