Egyptian Ankh Amulets

Learn about Egyptian culture by making your very own Ankh Amulet!

  • Step 1Prepare an area for clay work by putting down some scrap paper or a splash mat onto a flat surface.
  • Step 2Using a roller, roll out your clay to the desired thickness. You could also flatten out with your hand if you prefer.
  • Step 3Using a roller, roll out your clay to the desired thickness. You could also flatten out with your hand if you prefer.
  • Step 4Cut out your Ankh shape with a modelling tool. Lift away the excess and leave your Ankh shape to dry.
  • Step 5Alternatively you could simply sculpt your amulets by hand just by looking at the pictures!
  • Step 6Paint your Ankh amulet with gold metallic paint. Allow to dry.
