Step 1From the top of your plate, mark 3cm in towards the centre and draw a line horizontally. Where your first line ends, draw an angled line in towards the centre. Do this for both sides. You can use the plates ridges as a guide.
Step 2Cut along the lines you have marked and follow the inside of the plate, cutting it out as well. Adult supervision is recommend when using scissors.
Step 3Paint your Egyptian collar using gold acrylic paint. Allow to dry.
Step 4Decorate your Egyptian collar using rhinestones around the inside.
Step 5Complete your Egyptian collar by painting blue and red stripes around the bottom of the collar. Allow to dry.
Step 6Use a hole punch to make a hole in both sides of your Egyptian collar. Cut two pieces of imitation leather and thread through each hole, tying a knot at the back.
