Flower & Handmade Candle Hanging Glass Jars

This hanging glass jar looks stunning with a candle inside it. You might like to make your own candle! Take a look at our Candle Making Tips for more information.

  • Step 1Cut out some flower petals from different colours of tissue paper. We used 7 petals for each flower.
  • Step 2Cut out a yellow tissue paper circle for the centre of each flower and then cut out some small green tissue paper leaves.
  • Step 3Using the ModPodge, glue the flowers and leaves onto the outside of the glass jar. Cover the flowers and leaves with ModPodge and make sure they are nice and flat on the jar
  • Step 4Set the glass jar aside to dry completely before making your candle. Take a look at our Candle Making Tips and Techniques.
  • Step 5Alternatively, fill with tissue paper and ‘Patty Pan Flowers’.
