These flowers can be decorated in a number of ways. Use the steps below as a decorative guide and mix up the techniques to create a unique combination of your own!
Step 1Before assembling your flower use a pencil to trace the shape of your flower onto some craft paper.
Step 2Assemble your flower, for permanent assembly you will need to glue the pieces together.
Step 3Cut up some tissue paper into small pieces. Coat your flower in slightly watered down PVA glue and cover the flower in tissue paper pieces. Gently paint over the flower with a coat of glitter paint. This will help stick any stray pieces of tissue paper down and add a touch of sparkle.
Step 4Attach the craft paper that was traced in Step 1 to your flower with glue.
For less glitter wastage, use a scrap piece of paper folded in half to catch the glitter falling off the flower while decorating. This will make it easy to tip the glitter back into the container ready to reuse!
Step 6Cover the area to be decorated with a light coat of glue. While the glue is still tacky, sprinkle glitter over the flower covering it entirely. Allow to dry.
Step 7Paint your flower bright colours. Allow to dry.
