Step 1For the feathered bird, Paint the entire bird light pink (excluding its beak). Paint the beak yellow. Allow to dry.
Step 2Find the smallest feathers in the packet of spotted feathers. Cover the body and tail of the bird with feathers. Attach with glue.
Step 3Glue a wiggle eye to the bird’s face as a final touch.
Step 4For a spotted bird, paint the head of the bird red and the tail and beak pink. Allow to dry.
Step 5Find approximately thirty pieces of confetti in a combination of warm colours (maroon, red, pink, yellow and orange). Use these to decorate the body of the bird. Attach with glue.
Step 6Cover the body with a coat of glitter paint. This will help to hold down the confetti pieces and add a touch of sparkle.
Step 7Paint a coat of PVA glue over the tail and beak and cover them in pink glitter. Allow to dry.
Step 8Glue a wiggle eye to the bird’s face as a final touch.
