- Step 1Begin by applying a base coat of white paint to your wooden person. Allow to dry.
- Step 2Use a lead pencil to sketch on where the helmet, hair and goggles will sit on the head and then paint them in. Allow to dry.
- Step 3Paint in the facial features and allow to dry, then use the black marker to add detail to the goggles.
- Step 4Paint the rest of the wooden person as you wish. We gave him a uniform with belt and long socks. Allow to dry.
- Step 5Take your felt and cut a strip approximately 21cm long by 1.5cm wide to be used as the scarf. Wrap it around the wooden persons neck and now your wooden pilot person is ready to fly!
