Crazy Hair Scissor Skills

Create a self-portrait then test your scissor skills as you give yourself some crazy hair! A fun activity to build fine motor skills and practice scissor skills while creating.
  • Step 1Print out the templates provided onto copy paper and create a self-portrait using your favourite decorating materials. You can create one self-portrait, or why not use all four templates to try out different hairstyles!
  • Step 2Cut around the thick black outlines so you have your chosen number of portraits as separate sheets. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Practice your scissor skills by cutting down the dashed lines. You can practice cutting straight, zig-zag, squiggly and curvy lines!
