Wobble Bunny

Use simple paper shapes to create this cute kinetic papercraft bunny that wobbles when you pet it!

  • Step 1Cut out a 5 x 29cm strip of purple paper and glue the short ends together to create a cylinder. Allow to dry. This will be your bunny’s body. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
  • Step 2Apply glue to a small section on the outside of the purple cylinder and attach to the centre of a sheet of green paper. Allow to dry.
  • Step 3Cut a 5 x 20cm strip of purple paper and glue the short ends together to create another cylinder. Glue this cylinder angled near the top of the larger cylinder, aligning the straight edges. This will be your bunny’s head. Allow to dry.
  • Step 4Cut another 5 x 20cm strip of purple paper and glue the short ends together to create a cylinder. Allow to dry. Flatten the cylinder and cut an 8cm slot down the middle as shown. This will be your bunny’s ears.
  • Step 5Glue the uncut edge of your bunny’s ears between the head and body as shown. Allow to dry.
  • Step 6Cut a 4 x 12cm strip of pink paper and glue the short ends together to create a cylinder. Glue the pink cylinder onto the body opposite the bunny’s head. This will be your bunny’s tail. Allow to dry.
  • Step 7You can add features to your bunny’s face with wiggle eyes and leftover paper. Try cutting small strips for whiskers and a pink triangle for the nose! Allow to dry if needed.
  • Step 8Give your bunny a gentle pat and watch as it wobbles!
