Step 1Print and cut out the template pieces for your chosen character onto coloured cardboard. Alternatively, you can print the template pieces onto white cardboard and decorate using coloured markers or pencils. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 2Paint the cardboard roll a base colour for your character. Allow to dry.
Step 3Glue the face features, a pair of wiggle eyes and the Ear pieces to the top half of the cardboard roll and allow to dry. Use the Step 6 image as a guide for your characters.
Step 4Glue the instruments to the front and overlap the Arm and Hand pieces on top of the instrument. Attach the Tail piece to the back of your character if they have one. Allow to dry.
Step 5Use coloured markers, pencils or paint to add details like cheeks, whiskers and fur. Allow to dry if needed.
Step 6Your Symphony of Stories Cardboard Roll Character is now ready to display! Use the other templates to create more characters or create your own!
