Step 1Print the templates provided onto white cover paper. This will provide a great surface for decorating.
Step 2Decorate and cut out your templates. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. We have used watercolour pencils to decorate but you could use markers, paint or pencils. Allow to dry if needed. We have used the camera template and cut it out of black cover paper - you could choose any of the assorted colours. Don’t forget to cut the 2 lines sitting inside the camera template!
Step 3Take the 1st camera roll template and run glue along the grey tab area. Stick the top of the 2nd camera roll onto this to create your “film”. Repeat this step to attach the 3rd piece of camera roll template.
Step 4Slide the “film” from the back of the camera template, up through the bottom slit and then back down through the top slit so that it can slide up and down. Move the film through the camera and view the animals as you read through The Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Ugly Animals!
