Tis’ the season to get crafty with our Christmas craft ideas. We will get you in the Christmas spirit with hundreds of activities to choose from.

Beaded Wire Star Ornament

  • You may find it easier to use slim nose pliers to fold the chenille ends down.
  • Step 1Cut a chenille stem into 3 equal parts.
  • Step 2Twist one part around another part to create a cross shape.
  • Step 3Twist the last part around the centre of the cross to create a star shape and then even out the points.
  • Step 4Begin threading beads onto each star point and push them into the middle of the star.
  • Step 5Continue threading beads until there is about 1cm left at the end of each stem. Fold these ends back over the bead to prevent the beads falling off.
  • Step 6Thread some metallic yarn around one of the ends and your star is ready to hang!
