Step 1Paint the flat top of three bottle tops using white acrylic paint. Allow to dry.
Step 2Cut a 20cm length of ribbon. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 3Flip your bottle tops over so the undecorated side faces up and arrange them in a line. Add a small amount of tacky glue to the inside of each bottle top.
Step 4Starting with one of the end bottle tops, push the end of your ribbon into the glue to secure. Push the ribbon into the glue on the next bottle top, leaving as little ribbon as possible between your bottle tops. Push the ribbon into the last bottle top in the same way.
Step 5Add another small amount of tacky glue on top of the ribbon in the centre of the last bottle top. Loop the remaining length of your ribbon around and push the end into the glue to create a hanger. Allow to dry.
Step 6On the decorated side of the bottle tops, use permanent markers to draw your snowman’s face and buttons. You can use our image as a guide.
Step 7Cut a 10cm length of ribbon to create a scarf. Loosely wrap the ribbon around your snowman between the top two bottle tops. Glue the ribbon to the front of the middle bottle top to secure in place. Allow to dry.
Step 8Your Bottle Top Snowman Ornament is now ready to add to your Christmas tree!
