Step 1Use coloured pencils to decorate your design/s on the dull side of the shrink film.
Step 2Pop out the shrink designs from the sheet. Use scissors to remove any rough edges if needed.
Step 3Preheat your oven to 160°C. Line an oven safe tray with baking paper then place your designs shiny side down in the centre of the tray. Adult supervision is recommended when using an oven.
Step 4Place the backing tray in the centre shelf of the oven for the 10 minutes. When your designs are in the oven they will curl to start with, but they will then flatten out towards the end of baking.
Step 5After 10 minutes, remove the baking tray from the oven and allow them to cool on the tray for a further 10 minutes.
Step 6Using a spatula, carefully remove the finished items from the tray. You will notice that they are now smaller and thicker, and the pencil colours are much more vibrant than before!
Step 7Attach your shrink designs to an ornament hook or keyring. You could also use ribbon to create a hanger.
Step 8Your Printed Shrink Film Christmas Ornaments are now ready to display or gift!
Only use pencils on the shrink film. It is not designed for use with markers or other colouring instruments. Shrink film is not suitable for use in a microwave oven. Adult supervision is strongly recommended when using an oven.
