Step 1Download and print out the templates provided onto cardboard. We recommended using cardboard to give your bunny a sturdy surface to stick to.
Step 2Decorate the templates using your favourite craft materials. Allow to dry if needed. Carefully cut out the template pieces. Don’t forget to cut out the window on the right-hand side of the card template piece. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 3Take the card template piece and mountain fold along the dashed lines.
Step 4Turn the card over so the design is face down. Place the slider into the right-hand side of the card, so that the ‘Pull’ tab sticks out at the top as shown. Add glue to the folded tabs around the outside, being very careful not to get any glue on the slider or inside of the card.
Step 5Fold the card closed so you can see the front design and press the glued tabs in place around the outside. Allow to dry.
Step 6Accordion fold the prop along the dashed lines so that the ‘Glue’ box is facing up. Apply glue to the grey section on the slider piece. With the ‘Glue’ box still facing upwards, attach the bottom fold of the prop to the glue on the slider. Allow to dry.
Step 7Add glue to the grey ‘Glue’ box of the prop and press the bunny into place. Allow to dry.
Step 8Pull the slider upwards to reveal the white inside the card. This is where you can write your secret Easter message!
Step 9Push the slider back down into place and flip the card over to address your card to your loved one. Your Easter Card with Message Reveal is now ready to gift!
