Personalised Ceramic Money Box

Can people hear your pockets jingle with loose change from a mile away? Now you can store your change in your very own personalised money box!

There are so many different things you can create with your money box… A kombi van? A lion? A shark? See what you can create!

  • Step 1Decide what you would like like to create with your money box. A kombi van? A lion? A shark? We’ve done them all!
  • Step 2Draw the details of your design onto your money box with pencil.
  • Step 3Use coloured markers or paint to fill in any block colour areas, like the windows and side panels of our kombi van. Alternatively, you can cover your entire money box with a base colour. We used blue for our shark, and orange for our lion. Allow markers or paint to dry.
  • Step 4Use a black marker to draw on details, like animal faces and the details on our kombi.
  • Step 5To make a lion’s mane, glue loops of yellow yarn all the way around your lion’s face. If you’re making a shark, cut triangular fin shapes out of blue felt, and attach them to the body of your shark with glue. Allow glue to dry.
