Rock Photo Holder

This Father's Day create Dad a rock photo holder, to hold his favourite photos!

  • Step 2Use paints and markers to decorate each rock. Allow to dry. These rocks can be decorated in a number of ways. Use the steps above as a decorative guide and mix up the techniques to create a unique combination of your own!
  • Step 3Cut a 30cm piece of armature wire. Wrap the wire around your rock, making sure one side is 3/4 longer than the other. Use jewellery cutters to wrap the short end of wire around the longer end, making sure the rock is secure in the centre.
  • Step 4To add some colour, thread some seed beads onto the longer piece of wire, leaving 6cm of wire at the end.
  • Step 5Loosely wrap the leftover wire around a pen three times.
  • Step 6Remove the pen and cut off the excess wire. Twist the end of the wire around so that the circle you just created is facing the front of your rock. Add in your photo and it is ready to give to Dad!
  • Step 1Use a variety of bright coloured paints to paint your rocks. Allow to dry.
