This cut cupcake and elephant bag is sure to brighten up Mum's day! Fill with sweet treats for a wonderful Mother's Day gift.

  • Step 1Paint your bag white. Allow to dry. This is not essential but provides a good base for painting.
  • Step 2Decide on your design. Look to our design for inspiration or come up with your own. Sketch your cupcake or your elephants onto your bag using a pencil.
  • Step 3Paint your design onto your bag. If you chose to create a cupcake, paint the patty pan purple, and the top of the cupcake pink. If you are creating the elephants, paint your elephants purple and the space between them pink. Allow to dry.
  • Step 4Trace over the outline of your cupcake or elephants with a black marker, and add in any extra details.
  • Step 5To finish off your cupcake, add some rhinestone flower ‘sprinkles’. Attach with glue.
  • Step 6To complete your elephants, cut the shape of a trunk out of purple cover paper, draw some lines on it with black marker, and attach it to your bag with glue.
