Mother's Day Wind Chimes

Create a beautiful wind chime for Mum on Mother’s Day!
  • Step 1Print out your Mother’s Day Wind Chimes BLM Overlay. We recommend you print it on cover paper. This will provide a great surface for decorating.
  • Step 2Use markers, pencils, crayons or paint to colour in your sheet. Once decorated, use scissors to cut out your overlay. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
  • Step 3Place a Wooden Wind Chime Shape over the top of your decorated cut out design and using a pencil, mark where the hanging holes are.
  • Step 4Attach your design to the Wooden Wind Chime Shape using glue. Allow to dry.
  • Step 5Push a pencil tip through the holes marked in Step 3.
  • Step 6Loop a length of waxed thread through the top hole. Thread some beads onto the waxed thread, then tie to create a hanger. Use the included metallic thread to attach the chimes along the bottom set of holes. Your Mother’s Day Wind Chimes are now ready to hang!
