Floating Earth

Step 1Trace a large circle onto your piece of paper, then cut it out.
Step 2Cut a line into the centre of the circle.
Step 3Overlap the edges to create a wide cone. Tape into place.
Step 4Cut a small hole at the point of the cone.
Step 5Push the straw through the hole, then use tape to secure the straw into place.
Step 6To ensure all your air is directed onto your Earth ball, use modelling clay to seal around the straw in the base of the cone.
Step 7Research how continents appear on a globe. Based on your research, paint your Decofoam Ball to roughly represent the earth.
Step 8Place your planet Earth ball into the cone, breathe gently and consistently through the straw and watch your planet Earth float!
