These beautiful earrings are the perfect gift for anyone with their ears pierced! Create your own earrings with a colour theme to suit your style.

  • Step 1Think about your design before you begin creating your earrings.
  • Step 2Cut some beading wire that will be long enough to attach to your shepherd hooks and hold three of the capiz pieces.
  • Step 3To create the decorative section of your earrings, attach a capiz piece diagonally along your eye pin. Attach with a hot glue gun.
  • Adult supervision and assistance is required while using the hot glue gun.
  • Step 5Place a capiz piece of the same colour on the back of the one previously glued, to ensure the earring will look the same from both sides. Attach with a hot glue gun.
  • Step 6Continue this process of sticking capiz pieces onto the eye pin until the whole pin is covered.
  • Step 7Once you are happy with the decorated eye pin, use a jump ring to connect the eye pin to the shepherds hook. Use jewellery pliers to bend the jump ring open and closed.
  • Step 8Repeat this process to create another matching earring.
