Step 1Lay your diorama box out flat. On the side next to the piece with the cut out (this should be the bottom of the box once constructed), draw a rectangle that is 2cm in from each edge. Cut the rectangle out using a hobby knife. Adult supervision is recommended when using a hobby knife.
Step 2Paint the inside of the box around the area you just cut out using CleverPatch™ dark blue acrylic paint. Then paint the two tabs above and below, as well as rest of the right side as shown in the image. Allow to dry.
Step 3Construct your diorama box and hold together using CleverPatch™ double sided tape.
Step 4Print out and colour in the tent BLMs provided, then cut out and attach to the front of the diorama box using double sided tape. You may also like to colour in the top of the diorama box and add a pom pom to make it look more like a circus tent! Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 5Measure a piece of ribbon or string behind your neck and over your shoulders, figuring out where you would like the diorama box to sit on the front of your chest. When you have the desired length of ribbon, attach each end to either side of the diorama box using sticky tape.
Step 6Print and colour in the BLMs provided of circus performers then cut them out. Attach wooden skewers to the back of each template with sticky tape so you can hold them up inside your circus tent. Your Circus Puppet Box is now ready to put on a show!
