Step 1Download and print out the template provided onto white cardboard. Each sheet contains templates to create two giraffes.
Step 2Decorate your template and cardboard finger puppet shape using paint. Don’t forget to add the giraffe spots! We chose to mix yellow and white with a bit of the burnt sienna to create a lighter paint for the mouth and nose. Allow to dry. Cut out the template pieces. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 3Glue the mouth/nose piece to the bottom of the head as shown. Glue the neck piece to the top of the cardboard finger puppet. Allow to dry.
Step 4Glue the head to the top of the neck. Allow to dry.
Step 5Glue the ears and ossicones to the top of the head as shown. Glue the arms to each side of your giraffe. Allow to dry.
Step 6Glue two wiggle eyes to the head above the mouth/nose piece. Allow to dry.
Step 7Your Giraffe Finger Puppet is now ready to use!
