Step 1Paint a wooden circle frame white. You may need a couple of coats for full coverage. Allow to dry after each coat.
Step 2While the frame is drying, you can make your flowers. Choose your first colour of clay and pinch a small amount, rolling it between your fingers to create a ball approximately 1cm in diameter. Create six balls of the same colour and size and one ball in a different colour to be the centre of the flower. Arrange the six matching clay balls around the outside of the other colour ball, gently pressing them together. Softly press and squeeze the flower shape together. Allow to dry.
Step 3Repeat Step 2 to create nine flowers in total. You can make them in any colours you like.
Step 4Arrange the flowers on top of the frame, making sure you do not cover the hole at the top. When you are happy with the placement, glue the flowers down with tacky glue. Allow to dry.
Step 5Cut a 30cm length of ribbon. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Thread one end of the ribbon through the hole in the top of the frame and tie a knot with both ends to create a hanger.
Step 6Complete your frame by adding a photo or artwork behind the frame and gluing in place. Allow to dry.
