Step 1Decorate a cardboard treasure chest with CleverPatch Paint Markers and allow to dry. Assemble your chest and secure together with glue or tape. Allow to dry if needed. Glue on some sequins for extra sparkle and allow to dry.
Step 2Write a message to the special person in your life on a cardboard gift tag. Cut a 20cm length of waxed thread and attach to the gift tag with a cow hitch knot. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 3Use the circle cutter to cut out some circles from the corrugated foil board. Cut the same number of circles out of white cover paper. Write some memories you would like to create on the white paper circles and stick them to the back of the corrugated foil circles to make coins. Allow to dry.
Step 4Place some tissue paper into your assembled treasure chest and tie the gift tag onto the chest through the closure slit as shown.
Step 5Place the coins you created in step 3 into the open chest. Your ‘Make a Memory’ Treasure Chest is now ready to gift to someone special!
