Mini Book - My Holidays

Make some memories these holidays and create your very own mini book! Perfect for reflecting on the fun times you had and imagining what future holiday adventures you might get up to. This free template provides prompts to make things easy or use the folding technique to turn any sheet of paper into a mini book and create your own!
  • Step 1Download and print the template provided. We recommend printing onto cover paper as this will provide sturdiness for construction. Cut the booklet out around the solid black lines. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
  • Step 2Mountain fold along each of the grey dotted lines then unfold.
  • Step 3Refold along the shorter centre line then cut along the dotted line from the centre of the page, making sure to stop when you reach the intersecting dotted line. Unfold the paper and you will now have a slit in the centre of the template.
  • Step 4Pinch the folds together on either side of the slit and bend the paper inwards, bringing in the sides to form a cross. These will be the pages of your book! Fold the cross flat onto a desk so the front cover is on the right-hand side, as shown.
  • Step 5Fold the booklet in half so you can only see one page, making sure the cover is at the front and you can flip through the other pages.
  • Step 6Use markers or pencils to complete your Mini Book! Once complete you can share with your friends or family and hold onto as a keepsake of your holiday fun!
