Celebrate National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day with this Chatterbox illustrated by Kerri-Ann Taggart, an Aboriginal, Wonnarua digital artist from the Hunter Valley.
This year’s National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day theme is ‘Little Footsteps, Big Future’. The theme refers to the guided journey children take as they grow learning culture, community and connection to Country.
Kerri-Ann envisioned making the chatterbox a game and a learning tool for children. She explains: 
“As you play through the chatterbox steps you reveal key words associated with the theme followed by Aboriginal symbols and their meaning. The small illustrations above the key word titles are my Aboriginal interpretations of the words; Connection, Country, Community and Culture.”
