Create your very own sporty outback animal puppets inspired by ‘Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller’. 

Written by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake A Minton and published by Little Book Press. ‘Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller’ will be read as a part of the ALIA National Simultaneous Storytime 2026 event!

  • Step 1Download and print out the templates provided. We recommend printing onto cover paper as this provides a sturdy base for construction.
  • Step 2Decorate the templates however you would like using coloured markers or pencils.
  • Step 3Carefully cut out the templates once decorated. Be sure to also cut out the grey holes on the bottom of the templates. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
  • Step 4Your Outback Football Finger Puppets are now ready for a game! Pop your fingers through the holes and grab a friend to play some outback football with!
