Reach For the Stars – Goal Setting

What goals do you have for this year? Practice your instrument more? Read more books? Learn a language? Whatever the goal is, we can make it easy to ‘Reach For the Stars!’.
  • Step 1Download and print out the template provided. We recommend printing onto cover paper as this provides a great surface for decorating.
  • Step 2Decorate your template. We have used markers but you could also use coloured pencils or paint. Allow to dry if needed.
  • Step 3Choose 4 goals that you wish to work towards and write them in the ovals.
  • Step 4Cut out the pieces of the template. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
  • Step 5Take the long strip showing the rocket and concertina fold along the dotted lines. Start with a mountain fold at the very top line up near the rocket, then concertina your way down.
  • Step 6Un-fold the strip and glue each of your goals below the rocket, placing one in each of the folded sections.
  • Step 7Your goals have now been set and you’re ready to reach for the stars! Fold the rocket back down and keep in a safe place so you can tick each one off as you go.
