Step 1Print and decorate the templates provided. We recommend printing onto cover paper as this is great for decorating and will provide for sturdy construction.
You may wish to print the 2nd page of the template at A3 size as this is the wrapping paper.
Step 2Cut out the five paper strips from the first page of the templates. There are four longer strips and one shorter strip. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 3Take one of the long strips and lay it on the desk with the design facing down. Bring one end around in a loop to the middle as shown Use glue to secure. Do the same thing with the other end but in the opposite direction to form a figure 8. Glue in place and allow to dry.
Step 4Repeat step 3 with the remaining long strips. You will now have four looped pieces and one short strip.
Step 5Take two of the looped pieces and make a cross. Glue in place and allow to dry. Repeat with the other two looped pieces so you have two crosses.
Step 6Place one cross within the other cross, turning one at 90 degrees to the other as shown. Glue in place and allow to dry.
Step 7Glue the ends of the short strip together to form a single loop. Glue at an angle, in the centre of the crosses. Allow to dry.
Step 8Your bow is now complete! Wrap your gift in the decorated wrapping paper and pop the bow on top, ready to give to your loved one!
