'We Love Kangaroos' Card

World Kangaroo Day is held on the 24th of October 2021. Celebrate with this adorable We Love Kangaroos Card!
  • Step 1Print and decorate the template provided using markers, pencils or paint. We recommend printing onto cover paper as this provides a great surface for decorating. Allow to dry if needed and then cut out the 3 pieces along the solid black lines. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
  • Step 2Take the Kangaroo piece and carefully cut out the greyed-out areas (Section 1) of the kangaroo’s eyes.
  • Step 3Valley fold both the large pieces along the dashed lines.
  • Step 4Flip the kangaroo piece over and add glue to the back of the top section. Glue it on top of the other large rectangular piece making sure to align the tops. You will notice the top piece will overhang the bottom piece by around 1cm. Allow to dry.
  • Step 5Carefully cut out the greyed-out circle area (Section 2).
  • Step 6Fold the card shut and glue the ‘We Love…” piece onto the front of the card at the top.
  • Step 7Your card is now complete. Watch the kangaroo’s eyes change as you flip the card open and closed!
