This adorable little amphibian will have you caught up in his spell! He's a hungry little guy, catching flies with his very long tongue.

Search terms: once upon a time, fairy tale, prince, princess and princesses, kings and queens.

  • Step 1Begin by giving your vase a coat of white paint. Allow to dry. This is not essential but provides a good base for painting.
  • Step 2Lightly draw your frog’s head and body onto the vase using a pencil. This is not essential, but helps with planning your design. Look to our vase design above for inspiration or come up with your own.
  • Step 3Paint your frog in bright colours. Allow to dry.
  • Step 4Use a marker to add detail to your frog.
  • Step 5Cut a long tongue from paper. Attach to the inside lip of your frog’s mouth so that it spills out and hangs over the side of your vase. Paint your frog’s lips pink. Allow to dry.
  • Step 6Mould a fly from a chenille stem and attach to your frog’s tongue with glue.
