Papier Mache

Papier mache is a great craft product for a quick, simple and creative activity!

Square Robot Box

Beep! Beep! I'll keep everything you put in me safe!

Search terms: futuristic, storage, science, invention.

  • Step 1Begin by giving your box a coat of white paint. Allow to dry. This is not essential but provides a good base for painting.
  • Step 2Paint your box orange and lid yellow. Allow to dry.
  • Step 3Cut 2 strips of orange card and concertina fold to create arms. Cut two claws from yellow card and glue to the ends of the arms. Allow to dry.
  • Step 4Attach the arms to your robot’s body with glue. Allow to dry.
  • Step 5To create the antenna cut a 3cm length of chenille stem. Hot glue your antenna standing on top of the lid. Alternatively you could poke a hole in the lid and poke your antenna through.
  • Step 6You may like to glue a pom pom on top.
  • Step 7Glue two wiggle eyes to the front lip of the lid.
  • Step 8Add detail to your robot with a marker.
