Kitty Cat Heart Dish

Step 1Sketch out your design onto a piece of paper before you start to decorate your porcelain dish. Once you have a design, transfer it lightly onto your dish using a pencil.
Store your markers horizontally (flat). Always replace the cap immediately after using, even if you are just taking a short break. This will stop the ink from drying out. Shake your markers well before use.
Step 3Press the tip of your marker gently and repeatedly to start the ink flow. Do this on some scrap paper. You may need to repeat this step each time you use your markers to get the ink flowing!
Step 4Fill in your design using the markers.
Step 5Once dry, place your dish in a cold household oven. Once the temperature has reached 160°C, bake your dish for 90 minutes to heat set your design.
Remember when baking your dish, DO NOT pre-heat the oven. The difference in temperature may cause your dish to crack. Instead, put your dish in a cold oven, then turn the oven on.
Step 7Attach 2 white pom poms for the cat’s cheeks and then attach 2 wiggle eyes with glue.
Step 8Cut out 2 small triangles of orange felt for your cat’s ears. Attach with glue.
Step 9Cut 6 short lengths of twine for the whiskers and then attach them to the pom poms with glue.
