Step 1Download and print out the templates provided. We recommend printing on cover paper as this provides a great surface for decorating. Decorate each of your templates using your favourite craft materials. Allow to dry if needed. Cut out templates 1 and 3 around the solid grey lines. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Cut out template 2 (the bunting) around the solid black lines.
Step 2Cut 2 pieces of yarn each measuring 29cm long. Use sticky tape to attach a piece of yarn to the back of each of the bunting pieces. This will help hang the bunting inside your card.
Step 3Glue template piece 1 in the centre of an A4 piece of coloured cardboard or cover paper. Allow to dry. Fold in half along the dotted line so your template is on the front cover of your card.
Step 4Open the coloured cardboard or paper so the blank inside of your card is facing up. Glue template 3 in the centre only. Allow the sides of the template to be loose as shown in the image.
Step 5Sticky tape the left end of the ‘Happy’ bunting’s yarn to the back of template 3 as shown. 2cm underneath that, sticky tape the left end of the second bunting’s yarn to the back of template 2.
Step 6Finish gluing template 3 to the inside of your card. Allow to dry.
Step 7Write a message to your ‘beary’ best friend and give it to them on Valentine’s Day!
