Dinosaur Excavation Egg

Dig for dinosaur skeletons! Become an archaeologist using our CleverPatch™ Calcium Carbonate and Plastic Dinosaur Skeletons. The egg canister will allow you to keep your findings safe and return to digging whenever you please!

  • Step 1Using a pencil, draw a design onto your egg canister. Use a marker to colour in your design.These can be decorated in a number of ways. Use the steps above as a decorative guide and mix up the techniques to create a unique combination of your own!
  • Step 2Mix 1 part calcium carbonate with 1 part water in a bowl and stir well until it forms a smooth thick consistency
  • Step 3Pour the mixture into one half of the egg canister until it is around ¾ full. Then place in your dinosaur skeleton.
  • Step 4Pour the remainder of your mixture over the top of the dinosaur until it is completely covered. Allow to dry.
  • Step 5Allow to dry for 24 to 48 hours before placing the lid on top. Once the mixture is set you can start digging to find your dinosaur skeleton!
