Step 1Bend and twist some chenille stems to look like coral. Cut to size if needed. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 2Glue the coral to the bottom of the jar and hold in place until the glue starts to dry.
Step 3Cut a sheet of blue cellophane approximately 8 x 10cm. Slide it into the jar behind the coral.
Step 4Fill the jar with enough glass gems to cover the bottom.
Step 5Choose the Wooden Sea Animal shape that you would like to use then decorate using paint or paint markers. Allow to dry. You may also wish to add some wiggle eyes to your wooden shape.
Step 6Cut a 7cm length of clear craft line. Glue or tape one end to the back of your Wooden Sea Animal and the other to the inside of the lid, making sure the line is short enough for your sea animal to hang freely. Allow to dry if needed.
Step 7Screw on the lid and your Ocean Jar is now complete!
