  • Step 1 Pull apart your cotton balls and fluff them out, then place a couple in the bottom of the jar.
  • Step 2 Sprinkle some glitter on top and cover the cotton balls with water.
  • Step 3 In a separate cup, mix a small blob of acrylic paint with water so that it is a smooth, runny consistency. Pour this paint into your galaxy jar.
  • Step 4 Place a few more cotton balls on top of the paint layer, sprinkle some glitter and pour some more watered down acrylic paint – try using a different colour this time! Continue this process until your jar is full of fluffy, colourful, sparkly layers.
  • Step 5 Now you can sit back and watch the paint trickle together, ever so slowly!
