Tis’ the season to get crafty with our Christmas craft ideas. We will get you in the Christmas spirit with hundreds of activities to choose from.

Candle Printing

  • Step 1Cut out a rectangle of white tissue paper that will fit around your candle.
  • Measure the height and the circumference of your candle first so your tissue paper rectangle is not too big or small.
  • Step 3Decorate the tissue paper using coloured markers.
  • Colour as much of the tissue paper as you can for a more effective finish.
  • Step 5Wrap a piece of non-stick baking paper around your candle allowing extra room for you to hold onto during the heating process.
  • Ask for an adults help with the next step as hair dryers can be very hot!
  • Step 7Using a hair dryer on a hot setting, heat the entire candle until you can see the wax melting through the baking paper.
  • Make sure the melted wax can be seen over the entire candle.
  • Step 9Remove the baking paper and set your candle aside to cool.
