Sketch out penguin’s body onto a piece of paper before cutting from black felt.
Fold a piece of black felt in half. Once you have a design, pin your design to the felt and use scissors to cut out.
Cut a long length of thread and thread your needle. Tie a knot in the end of your thread and you are ready to start sewing.
Sew them together by stitching around the edge. Leave a gap to stuff your ornament with wadding.
Sew a loop of ribbon to the top of your penguin ornament so that he can be hung on your Christmas tree.
Finish sewing the two felt pieces together.

Trace around your ornament onto a scrap piece of paper to create a size guide. Use this guide to draw your penguin’s tummy onto white adhesive felt.
Cut out and attach to your ornament.
Cut two feet and a triangle beak from orange adhesive felt and attach to your ornament.
Use fabric glue to attach wiggle eyes. Allow to dry.
Cut a thin strip out of red felt and tie around your penguin’s neck as a scarf.
