Fun Porcelain Plates

Step 1Clean your plate with soapy water and dry well.
Step 2Shake your markers well before use.
Step 3Think about what you want to draw on your plate. If you are unsure, try drawing a design on paper first, then copy onto your plate with your markers. Look to our designs for inspiration or come up with your own.
Step 4Allow your design to dry for a minimum of 24 hours.
Step 5Once dry, place your plate in a cold household oven. Once the temperature has reached 160°C, bake your plate for 90 minutes to heat set your design.
Remember when baking your plate, DO NOT pre-heat the oven. The difference in temperature may cause your plate to crack. Instead, put your plate in a cold oven, then turn the oven on.
