Horse Collage

You could make a large A3 poster for group decorating. You could even photocopy onto a plastic sheet and project (with overhead projector) the image onto display paper fixed to a wall. Students can trace and do a large scale mural or collage!
Step 1Use the template provided to create a horse collage. Remember these sheets can be enlarged or reduced on a photocopier according to your requirements.
Step 2Roughly rip up crepe paper, newspaper and magazine clippings into small pieces.
Step 3Coat your horse in slightly watered down PVA glue and cover in the crepe paper, newspaper and magazine clippings. These may include pictures and words relating to horses. Look to our design for inspiration.
Step 4Gently paint over your horse with a coat of glitter paint. This will help stick any stray pieces of crepe paper down and add a touch of sparkle.
Step 5Cut out your horse and glue onto a piece of coloured cover paper. Using a marker write describing words about ‘Lightning Jack’ around your horse.
