Personalised Wooden Coasters

Step 1Do you have a favourite photo of yourself or some artwork that you’re really proud of? You might like to take a photocopy or scan so that you don’t ruin the original. You can also adjust the size of the image to suit the size of your coaster.
Step 2Use a paint brush to cover the top of your wooden square with a thin layer of Mod Podge. Now place your artwork carefully over the tacky surface and smooth out any bubbles with your fingers.
Be sure to allow the layer of Mod Podge to completely dry before continuing. Only apply a thin coat of Mod Podge and give another thin coat if needed once the original coat has completely dried. A hairdryer on high heat, medium setting is handy to help speed up the drying process.
Step 3Repeat this process on the back of your wooden square shape to create a double sided coaster.
Step 4Make sure the sides of your wooden square shape are also covered in Mod Podge so that it’s completely sealed. It’s best to wait 24 hours for your Mod Podge to dry.
We recommend reapplying Mod Podge every few months for extra protection.
