  • Step 1

Paint your clock hands with metallic gold paint. Allow to dry.

  • Step 2

Paint your clock face white. Allow to dry. This is not essential but provides a good base for painting.

  • Step 3

Paint your clock face a nice base colour. We chose a light pink. Allow it to dry.

  • Step 4

Overlap some tissue paper over your clock face for a bit more decoration and texture. We chose a blue piece and yellow piece. Trim any excess paper and attach to your clock face with glue.

  • Step 5

Mix some purple paint with your leftover light pink paint and apply to your clock face. Dabbing your paint brush to create a textured effect.

  • Step 6

We also used gold paint to create more texture on our clock face.

  • Step 7

Attach the clock movement to the back, through the hole in the clock. Attach the clock hands to the clock movement that is sticking through the hole at the front of the clock.

  • Step 8

Place batteries in your clock movement to make it work.
