Pretty Wooden Clock

Step 1Paint your clock hands with metallic gold paint. Allow to dry.
Step 2Paint your clock face white. Allow to dry. This is not essential but provides a good base for painting.
Step 3Paint your clock face a nice base colour. We chose a light pink. Allow it to dry.
Step 4Overlap some tissue paper over your clock face for a bit more decoration and texture. We chose a blue piece and yellow piece. Trim any excess paper and attach to your clock face with glue.
Step 5Mix some purple paint with your leftover light pink paint and apply to your clock face. Dabbing your paint brush to create a textured effect.
Step 6We also used gold paint to create more texture on our clock face.
Step 7Attach the clock movement to the back, through the hole in the clock. Attach the clock hands to the clock movement that is sticking through the hole at the front of the clock.
Step 8Place batteries in your clock movement to make it work.
