Snow Wonderland

One of our most popular activity packs, snow wonderlands are the perfect way to utilise the magic of CleverClay™. You can turn any jar with a lid into a snow wonderland - simply sculpt a character and away you go!

  • Step 1Think about what character you would like to display in your Snow Wonderland.
  • Step 2Sketch out your design onto a piece of paper before you start to create your character. This is not essential, but helps with planning your snowy scene.
  • Step 3Mould a base for your character approximately 2cm H x 2cm W x 2cm D.
  • Step 4Model your character on its base about 8cm H x 2 cm W x 2cm D.
  • Remember that your character will appear bigger submerged in your glass jar.
  • Step 6Mould the base of your character to the lid, to help it stick.
  • Step 7Fill your jar with water, but do not fill it all the way to the top.
  • Step 8Add approximately half a teaspoon of glitter and be sure to mix it through.
  • You may like to add a drop of detergent or glycerine to prevent the glitter from sticking to the surfaces of the clay, the glass and enable it to flow freely.
