String Art BLMs

Step 1Print out your chosen BLM design and cut it out.
Step 2Lay the template in the middle of your string art board and tape it down loosely.
Step 3Carefully use the hammer to nail in the nails all the way around the outside of the template. Be sure to leave approximately 3/4 of the nail sticking out and try to keep them at the same height all the way around. You can experiment with the distance you use between nails. We’ve found that approximately 1-1.5cm works great.
Step 4Once all the nails are firmly in place, remove the loosely taped template by ripping it off the board.
Step 5Begin stringing your design by taking your chosen colour yarn and tying the loose end tightly onto one of the nails. Wrap the yarn from nail to nail until you are happy with your design. You can wrap it in a particular pattern or simply criss cross the yarn randomly around your design.
Step 6Once you are happy with the design, cut the yarn and tie it off onto a nail tightly. You can now add other colours if you wish to.
