Running Roo

Step 1Print out the templates provided onto cardboard and cut out. Decorate the pieces using paint sticks and allow to dry. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.
Step 2Glue a wiggle eye to the face using the dashed circle as a guide. Allow to dry.
Step 3Align the small grey dot on the kangaroo foot template with the outer grey dot on the circle template piece. Push a paper fastener through the two pieces, bending the arms open at the back to hold in place.
Step 4Align the grey centre dot of the circle to the dot at the bottom of the background template piece with the rounded section at the bottom. Push a paper fastener through and open the arms to hold in place.
Step 5Align the arm to the small dot on the body piece, closest to the head. Push through a paper fastener and open the arms to hold in place.
Step 6Align the small dot on the leg with the dot on the far left of the body piece and the dot of the tail piece. Push a paper fastener through the leg piece, then the tail, then the body and bend the arms open.
Step 7Push a paper fastener through the top dot on the body piece then through the remaining background dot. Open the arms to hold in place.
Step 8Your Running Roo is now ready to use! Turn the circle to watch the kangaroo run.
