Origami Bookmark

Never lose your place again with these crazy critter origami bookmarks!

  • Step 1Begin with a piece of paper around 12-15cm square. You can create this by cutting out a square from an A4 sheet of paper. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. Fold your square in half to create a triangle.
  • Step 2Fold your square in half to create a triangle.
  • Step 3Fold the right side point up to meet the top point and crease.
  • Step 4Fold the left hand point up to meet the top point and crease.
  • Step 5Unfold these two creases so you are back to the original triangle.
  • Step 6Fold the top point of the triangle down to meet the bottom edge and crease.
  • Step 7Bend the right side point up and over the top straight edge. Fold and tuck it down into the pocket.
  • Step 8Repeat on with the left hand point, tucking it down inside as you did with the right side.
  • Step 9Turn your origami bookmark into a critter by adding some wiggle eyes…
  • Step 10And some teeth!
  • Step 11Your crazy critter origami bookmark is now ready to use!
